Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Habits Pioneer mobile application ("the app", "we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The Service

Habits Pioneer is a personal productivity app that lets you track habits, manage tasks, and log sleep. The app works fully offline with no account required. You may optionally sign in with Google or Apple to enable cloud sync across your devices.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

3. Your Account

Cloud sync is optional. If you create an account by signing in, you are responsible for maintaining the security of the third-party account (Google or Apple) you use to sign in. You may delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time from Settings → Cloud Sync → Delete account.

4. Your Content

All content you create in the app — habits, tasks, sleep logs, notes, and similar data — belongs to you. We claim no ownership over it. You are solely responsible for the content you enter and for keeping your own backups where appropriate.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app or its servers;
  • Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data;
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app without our written permission.

6. Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, source code, branding, and content (excluding the data you create), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own personal use.

7. AI Coach

The AI Coach feature uses Anthropic's Claude AI to provide personalized habit suggestions and answer questions about the app. By using this feature, you agree that:

  • Conversations are processed in real time by Anthropic's API and are not stored on our servers. Each session starts fresh.
  • A compact, anonymized summary of your in-app habit data may be sent to the AI during the session to personalize responses. This is not stored after the session ends.
  • The AI Coach provides general self-improvement suggestions only. Its recommendations are not professional advice — medical, psychological, nutritional, or otherwise. Always consult a qualified professional for health-related decisions.
  • Use of this feature is entirely optional.

8. Health & Wellness Disclaimer

Habits Pioneer — including its sleep hygiene content and AI Coach suggestions — is provided for informational and self-improvement purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding any health concerns.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. You use the app at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

11. Third-Party Services

Cloud sync relies on Supabase and the authentication providers you choose (Google or Apple). Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

12. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time and delete it from your device. We may suspend or terminate access to the cloud sync service if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Termination does not affect data stored locally on your device.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there.
